Summary

Support responsibilities of eSports department

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Manage day to day eSports players relative activities:
    • Oversee eSports students.
    • Practice and competition planning and organizing for all teams.
    • Set up community engagement/service initiatives according to Trine’s eSports strategy.
    • Assist in setting plans to achieve goal performance.
    • Assist in overseeing eSports students’ academic performance.
    • Oversee the team discipline through sportsmanship and proper vocabulary.
    • Set up teams for competitions.
    • Assist in maintaining budget policies.
    • Handle all aspects of team within university, conference, club policies and procedures.
    • Accompany players during tournaments and events.
  • Manage day to day eSports arena relative activities:
    • Keep the arena material functional for our players, guests, and visitors.
    • Support the Director of eSports
    • in the operation of events and tournaments in the arena.
    • Keep an updated schedule for the team practices in the training booths.
    • Welcome guests and keep the arena ready for visitors.
  • Support all day to day recruiting activities:
    • Support the Director of eSports in the recruitment strategy.
    • Participate in on campus recruiting activities.
    • Identify quality eSports students and recruits.
  • Assist with Special events of the Academic Department.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Education and/or Experience

Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university; two to three years related recruitment experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience. General knowledge in the world of eSports and games. Collegiate eSports experience preferred.
