Larry and Judy Reiners Residence Hall
A 170-bed apartment-style residence hall
Project Cost - $7.1 million
With a dramatic increase in enrollment, Trine is building a new 170-bed apartment-style residence hall, Reiners Residence Hall. The new residence hall will be located on Thunder Drive between Fred Zollner Athletic Stadium and Hershey Hall. Reiners Residence Hall, expected to be completed in 2015, will feature two-bedroom units with private baths, air conditioning and a common living space and kitchen.
Trine created Thunder Village to fill a void before Reiners Residence Hall is ready. Thunder Village will be located south of the new hall and consist of five-bedroom units.
Reiners Residence Hall is named after alumnus and member of the board of trustees, Larry Reiners, BSCE '65, and his wife Judy. The Reiners Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering is also named in their honor.
