Trine University invites applications for a half-time position as Director of Choral Music. Application review begins immediately and will continue until the position is filled.

Trine University is seeking an experienced, motivated individual to assume leadership of the choral music programs. A master’s degree in music, music education or a related field, and choral directing experience is required; an earned doctorate is preferred. The successful Director of Choral Music will champion the development of additional choral music opportunities at Trine University.

The Director of Choral Music will conduct/coordinate the choral programs, including the University Choir, and will be responsible for the management of all administration and development responsibilities of the choral program. Additional responsibilities will include being an active recruiter for the choral programs, meeting with potential students, and being an enthusiastic ambassador for the University.

Candidates invited to interview will need to supply evidence of conducting ability and knowledge of varied choral repertoire. All candidates must provide proof of eligibility to work in the United States and official transcripts at the time of employment.
