Programs

Choose from over 35 degree programs in engineering and technology, accounting, criminal justice and forensic science, education, golf management, and various other fields of study.

Faculty

Educated at prestigious universities, our faculty bring practical industry experience into their classes. They work one-on-one with students, acting as mentors and advisors. Seventy-one percent have earned doctorate degrees.

Locations

Our 450-acre main residential campus in Angola includes an 18-hole championship golf course. We have additional regional education centers: in Angola, Fort Wayne, Columbus, Logansport, Schererville, Avon, Howe, Warsaw and South Bend, Ind.

Facilities

The recently completed $15.5 million University Center and Center for Technology and Online Resources, at the heart of Trine’s campus, houses a 320-seat theater, Center for Digital Excellence, library, fitness center, radio station, bookstore, indoor and outdoor café dining, and more. Recent building renovations include updates to Fawick Hall, the engineering building; the T. Furth Center for Performing Arts; and the Ketner Sports Center. Volleyball and basketball courts are featured in Hershey Hall, and the Keith Busse/Steel Dynamics Athletic and Recreation Center boasts a new 200-meter indoor track and fieldhouse with tennis courts. The Fred Zollner Athletic Stadium opened in 2010.

Student life

Take advantage of great leadership opportunities on our vibrant campus, offering more than 60 student organizations, clubs, activities, and Greek organizations.

Athletics

We’re competitive members of the Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association and the NCAA Division III Conference, offering 22 varsity sports teams and intramural recreation. Trine Thunder is represented in white and navy blue.

Financial aid

U.S. News & World Report ranks Trine as one of the top colleges and universities whose graduates carry the least amount of debt. Ninety-eight percent of our students receive some form of financial assistance. In 2010, Trine distributed $19 million of institutional funds for scholarships and grants.

Housing

Eighty percent of students live in comfortable, spacious, apartment-style housing on campus. The newest are townhouse-style apartments overlooking Trine’s Zollner Golf Course.

National recognition

The Foundry Education Foundation ranks Trine's as the nation’s top undergraduate cast metal program. Additionally, Trine’s computer-aided drafting and design program is among the best in the country. Trine’s engineering, education, and business programs are nationally accredited.

Careers

Trine students excel. Ninety percent of Trine graduates find work in their fields of study within six months of graduation or enter graduate school. Their starting salaries rank among the highest in the nation for every major category.
