Mission Statement
In concert with Trine University, the mission of the School of Professional Studies is to provide quality, continuous higher learning opportunities for adults who want to begin or advance in careers, enhance lifelong learning, and keep pace with the growing complexities of today’s world.

The summer of 2005 introduced a significant evolution in the mission of the School of Professional Studies (SPS). Begun more than a decade ago to focus on career-oriented learning for adults, SPS today offers four types of educational opportunities:

Classes within the School of Professional Studies are taught by professionals committed to quality education and a depth of learning who work full-time within their individual fields of expertise.

Degree Programs
Since 1994, Trine University has focused on the educational needs of adult students by offering small classes that encourage a high degree of student/faculty interaction. Middle College
Highly regarded by state education leaders, Middle College opens Trine’s college classes to high school students for dual-credit opportunities. Visit the Middle College page to learn more.

Training To Go
SPS has begun reaching out to regional businesses and industries to create educational partnerships that go beyond traditional classroom learning. On-site training is one key offering of SPS. Call us to learn more.

Convenient Locations
The School of Professional Studies is conveniently located throughout northern Indiana. Classes are available at Trine (Angola), Trine Columbus, Trine Fort Wayne, Trine Logansport, Trine South Bend, and Trine Schererville.
