The Informatics program curriculum requires the completion of 120 hours of course work including the completion of a minor in a cognate area. The average course load is 15-16 hours based on eight semesters.

Bachelor of Science – Informatics Major - 120 hrs.

*Humanities & Social Science – 12 hrs.

Informatics Core – 43 hrs.
Outside Minor Studies – 24-27 hrs.
Informatics students are encouraged to consult with their advisor to choose a minor that is appropriate to their career plan.
Electives – 7-10 hrs.
