Trine University’s Ketner School of Business Congratulates Eric Watt
Trine University’s Ketner School of Business (ACBSP accredited) is proud of the recent national recognition achieved by finance major, Eric Watt.  Eric has received the prestigious Gagliardi Trophy!  Similar to the NCAA’s Division I Heisman Trophy, the Gagliardi recognizes the most outstanding Division III collegiate football player in the United States. Unlike the Heisman, which exclusively recognizes athletic performance, the Division III award also honors the importance of success in academics and community involvement:  http://www.youtube.com/trineuniversity

The Ketner School of Business aims to foster the best in all of our students. Eric Watt, a Trine senior who graduated a semester early in December 2010, exemplifies the opportunities this great University can afford.  Outside the classroom and off the field, Eric’s involvement in activities such as our Students in Free Enterprise (SIFE) organization, mentor reading program, RETT syndrome fundraiser, and Sigma Phi Epsilon fraternity propelled him to such a high level of achievement.

Diligent in the classroom, a yeoman in the community and, as a spectacular starting quarterback, Eric Watt led Trine to three Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association (MIAA) titles, three NCAA Division III playoff berths, and a 29-1 win/loss record over three years…only to be stopped by the back-to-back national championship team.

The University celebrates and takes immense pride in the accomplishments of all our students and alumni.  It is about finding the right combination of excellence in academics, extracurricular activities, and/or athletics for each individual. We look forward to helping you lay the foundation for your educational and career goals.
