Requirements
The Forensic Science Major Curriculum
The curriculum requires the completion of 124 hours of course work. The average course load is 15-16 hours based on eight semesters. In the degree program description that follows, an asterisk (*) indicates those courses that satisfy Trine's general education requirements.
Bachelor of Science in Forensic Science – 124 hours
*Written Communication – 6 hrs.
*Oral Communication – 3 hrs.
*Social Science & Humanities – 18 hrs.
*Computer Literacy – 3 hrs.
*Mathematics & Science – 11 hrs.
*Health and Physical Education – 2 hrs.
*Freshman Studies – 1 hr.
Forensic Science Core – 69 hrs.
Electives – 11 hrs.
