Music Minor - 24 HRS
Admission to ensembles
The Music Minor is designed for students who have a vital interest in music but do not wish make music their career. The Music Minor demonstrates to prospective employers that you have diverse interests and have a well rounded education. They are frequently impressed by applicants who have a strong interest in another area outside their major field and many have a personal interest in music.
The music minor offers students the chance to broaden and deepen their understanding of music. It will allow students who have an interest in music to further their music education by exploring their talents as performers, listeners, composers and musicologists.
The Music Minor provides a breadth and depth of knowledge in music to students who have a passion for music but wish to make their career in another field. Students who have found a deep satisfaction in music study and performance in the past will experience deeper artistic fulfillment in the Music Minor.
