Welcome to SOAR 2013
Summer Orientation and Registration (SOAR) is a great opportunity to meet your academic advisor, plan your first semester of classes, learn valuable information about resources at Trine and meet other new and returning students.
While you′re at SOAR, plan on:
- Meeting one–on–one with your academic advisor to pre–register for fall classes.
- Getting your student ID, e–mail account and parking permit.
- Checking out housing and roommate information.
- Filling out important forms.
- Visit the Financial Aid office.
- Learning about the many services available to students.
SOAR is also for parents and guests
Parents and support providers are very important resources for students throughout college, particularly in the first year. SOAR allows you to experience Trine in–depth and gain information that can assist you and your student in the future.
Session selection
Choose between three days; Wednesday June 12 through Friday June 14.
Trine will make every reasonable effort to honor your session requests; however, space is limited for each session. Therefore, reservations are accepted on a first–come, first–served basis.
NOTE: The last date to register for SOAR is Friday, May 31.

You must pay your enrollment deposit before registering, there is no extra fee for SOAR. If you have not already done so please do so before registering.

Questionnaire for new students:
The Questionnaire for New Students will be used by your academic adviser to determine your preliminary class schedule. Feel free to include comments (in the space provided at the end of the form) you feel would help us make appropriate course recommendations. Many students find it helpful to discuss these questions with their parents or spouses before completing the questionnaire. Please answer ALL form questions.
