Meet your admission counselor

Sherrie Grant attended Deer Creek High School in Edmond, Okla., where her favorite teacher, Mrs. Reta Horner, knew her students so well, she memorized the color of their eyes.

In high school, Sherrie enjoyed studying statistics, and participated in basketball, choir, band, Student Senate, Pep Club, and her church youth group.

In college, she majored in vocal music performance and participated in intramurals, which she termed “a blast.”

Her other activities included Social Service Club, vocal groups, plays, and musicals.

She cheers for Trine athletic teams, sings, and performs on stage whenever she can.

When fast food calls, she answers with a trip to Sonic drive-in.

Her TV show preferences include “According to Jim” for special reasons—“My husband IS Jim,” she claims.

The Eagles are her favorite music group.

At Trine University, she enjoys the personal relationships she forms with parents and students through her job.

She enjoys Zollner Golf Course when the work is done.
