Meet your admission counselor

Kasey graduated from Pendleton Heights High School, where her teacher, Mrs. Turner, helped her to fall in love with English and learn there’s more to it than reading and writing papers.

She cheered, played softball four years and was a member of the school newspaper staff and student council.

After high school, she majored in English at Ball State, where she worked as a resident assistant and participated in the Homecoming steering committee, the Resident Hall Association, the Virginia Ball Center for Creative Inquiry, and Pi Beta Phi.

She likes reading, knitting, cooking, playing with her puppies, golf, advising the Zeta Theta Epsilon sorority, and hanging out with her husband and their friends.

Her favorite fast food is Quiznos, and when she watches TV, “Grey’s Anatomy,” “Heroes,” “GhostHunters,” and“Law & Order: SVU” are most likely to occupy the screen.

Tunes by Jack Johnson, Michael Buble, Jamie Cullum, Frank Sinatra, and Johnny Cash top her music list.

She describes Trine as “a beautiful, small campus where you get to know so many people and can get involved in anything you can imagine!” That enthusiasm spills over into her job.

“I love the fact that many of the students I recruit are now on campus having the time of their lives,” she said.
