Meet your admission counselor - Ohio

Jon attended Warsaw Community High School, where math and history were his favorite subjects.

His math teacher, Al Rhodes, graduated from Tri-State University, and impressed upon Jon that being your best is a combination of talent, skill and attitude.

Jon played basketball and baseball, and participated in DECA Association of Marketing Students.

Following in his teacher/mentor’s steps, he attended Tri-State, where he played baseball while majoring in business management.

He also participated in Phi Kappa Theta fraternity, the Financial Management Association, intramurals, Student Senate, and the Inter-Fraternal Council.

Today, sports, politics, movies, and the lake take up his free time, and if you see him at a fast food drive-up, it’s probably Arby’s.

When he settles down for some TV, “Sportscenter,” “The Office,” and “Mythbusters” are likely on the screen.

Toby Keith is his favorite musician.

He enjoys the close-knit environment at Trine University, the energy of the Blue Crew student athletic support club, and other Student Life activities like midnight breakfast.
