Requirements
A student at an approved institution of higher learning who is not on academic probation is eligible to apply for admission to Trine University. The applicant must have a satisfactory record at the previous institution of higher learning.
Admission requirements for transfer students are as follows:
Admission into all majors in the School of Engineering, the School of Education and/or a major in Forensic Science requires a cumulative GPA of at least 2.5. In addition, students must have successfully completed the equivalent of Trine’s English Composition I (Calculus I, and Chemistry I for the School of Engineering and /or a major in Forensic Science) with a “C” or higher.
Admission into all other majors in the School of Arts and Sciences and the School of Business require a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.25 with 18 credit hours completed. The student must have successfully completed at least one college level math course and English Composition I with a “C” or higher.
