Meet Karen Reinoehl
Karen Reinoehl graduated from Carroll High School, where her favorite class was astronomy.
Studying in the school's planetarium provided a great opportunity to learn about space. Growing up, she was actively involved with many community service activities.
Her undergraduate coursework was completed at Indiana-Purdue Fort Wayne, where she received an A.S. in organizational leadership and supervision and a B.A. in general studies. Her academic advisers had a significant influence over her decision to pursue a career in higher education.
She pursued a master of arts at Ball State University, with a dual major in adult and community education and executive development for public service. In addition, she is a member of Phi Kappa Phi, Phi Theta Kappa, and Omicron national honor societies.
Coffee shops, especially Starbucks, are her favorite places to meet friends. Unquestionably, her favorite food is pizza. Besides spending time with family and friends, she enjoys reading and traveling.
"Trine University has an exciting history, and I am looking forward to being a part of the institution's future," she said.
