Whether you graduated from Tri-State College, Tri-State University or Trine University you're in great company. Our graduates have gone on to distinguish themselves in business, engineering, education, science, and a wide variety of other fields.

Founded in 1884, Trine University began as Tri-State Normal College founded by citizens of Angola, Ind., as an independent, co-educational institution with two departments: Literary and Commercial. The School of Engineering was established in 1902. In 1906 the institution reorganized as Tri-State College. Having a history of transitioning with the needs of the era, in 1975 Tri-State College became Tri-State University. Today, continuing the tradition of a forward thinking institution that has produced years of successful and forward thinking business men and women, we have become a world renowned institution that evolved into Trine University.

Your involvement in the Trine community has been critical in helping Trine achieve high-quality programs, cutting-edge facilities, serious students, and top-notch faculty from across the nation. Trine is regularly ranked among the best universities in the region. Our graduates leave college with very little debt. We are grateful to our supporters for helping the dreams of so many become reality.

Much of the success of the University over the years has been a direct result of our thousands of alumni and friends supporting the ANNUAL FUND. The annual giving program provides much needed support for a wide variety of initiatives including scholarships, equipment, research, special projects, and travel for faculty and students to stay on top of the latest innovations in their fields.
