Where are they now?

Sarah Brown TSU Alum and staff member

Sarah Brown, BSBA management 1994, never strayed too far from her alma mater.

She worked as assistant golf professional at Zollner Golf Course as her second job after college, then managed Follett Bookstore on campus. During that time, she completed her MBA at Indiana Wesleyan and then left the Angola area for two and a half years. She returned to Trine as Director of Student Life, planning student events. "I love event planning. Seeing guests having fun, networking and enjoying a good time is what I am most passionate about," she said. Students showed their appreciation by attending in large numbers.

Relationship building has been a key to Brown′s success. In her new role as Trine′s Director of Alumni Relations and Events, she will work to engage alumni with their alma mater and reacquaint them with the campus. "I seize every opportunity to talk to alumni," she said. "Social networks such as Facebook allow me to stay up–to–date with classmates. I look forward to the challenges associated with my new role. I hope to provide alumni with some exciting events on campus. I want everyone to have a positive experience."

In her free time, Sarah is an avid golfer. She recorded her first hole–in–one on Zollner′s second hole on June 15.

She remains committed to supporting Trine University. "This university directly impacted my success since graduation. It helped me develop personally and professionally. I am proud to represent Trine to my fellow alumni."
