Defending MIAA softball champion TSU has gotten off to a hot start in the 2008 season, with a record of 14-2. The TSU baseball team continues to improve after a 9-10 start. Russell Dill is currently ranked #2 in the NCAA in the 110-meter high hurdles after running a time of 14.7, which is also a provisional qualifying mark for the NCAA meet.

Lacrosse has officially joined Tri-State athletics. The men’s team hosted their first home contest on March 14, an 8-9 overtime loss for the Thunder. Tri-State has since strung together a 3 game win streak. The women’s team will hosted their first home contest on April 12 against University of Dallas.
