In recognition of the long-term support of the Zollner Foundation, as well as its recent $1 million commitment to TSU’s new athletic stadium, the stadium will take the name Fred Zollner Stadium. Artificial turf is installed and will be ready for play by mid-June. The stadium, with a new grandstand for the home fans, press boxes, hotel/hospitality rooms, restrooms, concessions, locker rooms and offices, will follow over the next year. TSU’s connection to the Zollner Corp. and foundation has continued for decades since the original gift of the Zollner Golf Course by the late Fred Zollner, a TSU Board of Trustees member.
