Farewell, Stewart Hall

Dormitory–style accommodations are now a thing of the past at Trine. The largest and one of the few remaining dormitories, Stewart Hall, constructed in 1965, submitted to the wrecking ball in March. Student apartments replace dormitory–style living across campus, as 85 percent of the housing now available to all students is newly constructed. The vacated space in the southwest corner of campus next to Hershey Hall and the new Athletic and Recreation Center will appropriately see use for athletics. Six new tennis courts are slated for construction on the site.
