Thunder Wrestling Coaching Staff
Dan Callahan launched the Thunder wrestling program in 2004.
During his nine seasons, the Thunder have compiled a 66-66-1 record, including winning the Mid-States Conference title in 2009-2010, as well as being NCAA Midwest regional runner-up in 2009 and 2010. Callahan also has been named as the Mid-State Conference Coach of the Year in 2006-2007 and 2009-2010.
Under Callahan, the program has produced a three-time NCAA All-American and 13 Academic All-Americans.
Entering the 2013-14 season, his career record, including 19 years as a high school wrestling coach is 332-174-9.
Prior to coming to Trine, Callahan coached at the high school level for 23 years, including 19 as a head wrestling coach.
Callahan is a graduate of Rochester High School, Rochester, Ind. and Alma College, Alma, Mich. Coach Callahan resides in Fremont with his wife Cindy, a fourth grade teacher, and has two children, Megan and Kyle.
