Trine Health center

Health Center

The heath center at Trine provides excellent health care and wellness initiatives for students.

Located on the first floor of Alwood Hall the health center is staffed with a nationally certified physician assistant. The physician assistant can assess and diagnose health care problems, write prescriptions, perform physical examinations, administer allergy injections, treat both minor and acute illnesses, as well as chronic health problems.

The health center provides cost-effective health services in a caring and confidential manner. The efficient service at the center allows students to focus on their education with minimal interruptions from illness or injury. Student can call for an appointment or simply walk-in:

Trine University Health Center
Monday – Thursday
11 AM – 4 PM
(260) 665-4585

After hours: Call 911 for all life-threatening emergencies.

The Health Center will be extending its hours starting Fall of 2015. As we are currently working with our Parkview Hospital providers to coordinate these hours, please check back soon for more details.

All incoming students are required to have a completed immunization record on file with the Health Center.

In addition to the required immunizations, all incoming international students are required to have a TB Test completed in the United States indicating that latent TB infection and/or TB disease is not likely. In the event of a positive TB test, students must schedule and complete a follow-up screening within 2 weeks of initial test. Please follow any additional precautions provided by your physician at that time.

All incoming students must submit completed immunization records to the Health Center by Aug. 1.  If you would like to claim religious exemption from required immunizations, please fill out the religious exemption form below and return to the Health Center by Aug. 1. Failure to submit necessary records will result in a hold on your student account, which affects ability to register for classes.
