Student Activities
Looking for something to do? At Trine University, you don’t have to look far. Our small, active campus is filled with organized activities and spur-of-the-moment opportunities for friendship, involvement, and fun. Rick L. and Vicki L. James University Center is the hub of campus activity. Enjoy a fun, exciting place to explore new interests, develop leadership skills, and make lifelong friends.
Student Organizations
More than 60 student-run organizations ensure there’s something you’ll find to capture your interest. Choose from service organizations such as Habitat for Humanity, campus ministry, fun social groups like the Blue Crew,
honor societies and fraternities, and professional societies and fraternities.
Student Government
Student Government works collaboratively with students and college administrators to create positive changes in the Trine University community. Join and make your voice heard!
Christian Life
Trine University is proud to offer students the opportunity to grow in their faith through involvement in our Christian organizations. There are numerous students of all denominational backgrounds that join together to participate in these faith–based ministries. Along with maturing spiritually, they build friendships that last a lifetime.
Music
For the first time in nearly one hundred years Trine University is offering music performing ensembles for credit to its students. The ensembles are open to all students and faculty of Trine University. Students may participate in an ensemble with or without credit. Visit our music section by clicking here.
Student Senate
Become student body president. Help plan campus-wide events. Student Senate is a great opportunity for you to develop leadership skills and build excitement on campus. All students are welcome at our weekly meetings in Best Hall.
Intramural Sports
One of the most popular activities on campus, intramurals involve 45 percent of the Trine student body. Team up with friends from your residence hall or members of your fraternity or sorority for basketball leagues, flag football, Ultimate Frisbee, or the most competitive dodgeball game you’ve ever played.
Greek Life
Six sororities and eight fraternities on campus sponsor a wide range of social, educational, and service activities. It’s a great way to meet friends and have fun.
