When to Move-In on Campus

All new students should arrive on Saturday, August 21. This includes first-year and transfer students. Check-in is from 9:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. Saturday.

Returning students should arrive on Sunday, August 22. Check-in is from 9:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. on Sunday. Classes for the fall semester begin on Tuesday, August 24, 2010.

Where to Go Once You Arrive on Campus

All students should proceed to Best Hall where check-in will be taking place. There you will receive further information regarding housing, campus safety, parent and student advocate, and the counseling services offered on campus. You will also receive valuable information about Welcome Week and this upcoming school year.

Help with Moving into the Residence Halls

Both Saturday and Sunday are busy days with lots of activity on campus. There will be Fraternity and Sorority members, wearing their greek letters, that will be floating around to help with all moving needs.

Convenient Shopping Locations

Here are some shopping centers to pick up those last-minute items that you might have forgotten at home. Each of these places is within a 10 minute drive from campus and very easy to get to.

New Students

Orientation takes place Saturday through Monday from August 20-23, 2010. New Student Orientation allows you to participate in activities, events, and presentations that will introduce you to the academic, cultural, and social aspects of Trine's campus. Attendance is required for all new students. At check-in, every new student will receive an orientation schedule with the times and locations of all mandatory events.

During orientation, you will learn about Trine's academic expectations, discuss the "Naked Roommate" book by Harlan Cohen (given at SOAR), and ease into your new role as a college student. We have also planned some fun social activities for you to get to know other Trine students, faculty, and staff.
