Tau Beta Pi
Tau Beta Pi
Tau Beta Pi is an Engineering Honor Society that boasts a rich history. Initiating its first member in 1885, Tau Beta Pi is the second oldest collegiate honor society in the country.
Tau Beta Pi can be defined be its creed: "Integrity and excellent in engineering." Our chapter seeks to honor and encourage the students from our university who uphold this creed, while equipping them with the experience to be leaders in their field.
To be considered for this society, a student must be a junior or senior engineering student ranking in the upper portion of their respective class. Upon membership, chapter members organize and participate in many activities. Members also have the opportunity to attend the national convention each year, allowing them to learn more about the organization while connecting with members and alumni from across the country.
Tau Beta Pi also provides outstanding networking opportunities for all members, whether they are students or experienced professionals.
