Assistant/Associate Professor of Software Engineering
Trine University is a small, private institution located in the beautiful lake resort region of northeastern Indiana. The mission of the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering is to provide students with the nurturing environment of a small school accompanied by academically rigorous programs that prepare graduates for either immediate employment or entry to graduate school. High quality teaching is our first priority and a normal course load is twelve credit hours per semester. Faculty members are expected to engage in professional development activities.
The Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering invites applications for a permanent, full-time faculty position at the Assistant or Associate Professor level.
Excellent English communication skills, eagerness for intellectual growth, and true commitment to excellence in teaching undergraduates. We prefer but do not require that you have developed software in a professional team environment.
Education and/or Experience
We require an earned doctorate in Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Computer Science

The salary is competitive and commensurate with experience and qualifications. In lieu of tenure, the University offers term contracts from one to five years, depending on academic rank and years of service.
