Dual Enrollment Coordinator


The Dual Enrollment Coordinator works with high school administrators, teachers, and students to implement the program’s strategic plans.  The  Dual Enrollment Coordinator  position requires an individual who can provide academic and professional expertise within the dual credit programs offered to high school students, such as on-campus enrollment, the dual enrollment program, and online enrollment. S/he must be able to work within the community to develop partnerships for the growth of the Dual Enrollment Program, and be willing to travel extensively within the various regions of the state.  The Dual Enrollment Coordinator should have a broad understanding of appropriate academic programs and potential future directions; be flexible, visionary, creative and energetic. 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Dual enrollment

  • Implement the program’s strategic plans

  • Maintain all policies and procedures for dual credit in accordance with state, university, school, and accreditation guidelines

  • Evaluate transcripts and approve instructors for the concurrent enrollment program (with oversight from the Director)

  • Coordinate and present professional development sessions for dual enrollment instructors

  • Process applications using Jenzabar

  • Visit dual enrollment classrooms to represent Trine University and observe instruction

  • Collection of all assessment data

  • Develop and maintain relationships with school administrators

  • Recruit and retain students for all programs

  • Conduct registration days at various schools

  • Maintain student, teacher and faculty liaison records

  • Complete additional duties as assigned by director  

Education and/or Experience

Bachelor’s degree from an accredited four-year college or university is required.  Preference will be given to candidates that have experience
in education.  Knowledge of high school programs and practices preferred. Must maintain a valid drivers license.
