Friends and Family. It's a Trine thing.

Join the Fun!

Trine University offers a variety of activities for students on and off campus. This includes the opportunity to learn about culture, make friends at social get-togethers, enjoy watching sporting events and more!

Multicultural Student Organization (MSO)

MSO is an organization on campus that is open to all students, both international and American.  MSO offers opportunities for social interaction and cultural education.  It is a great way to make friends from around the world and have the chance to teach others about various cultures.  Our goal is to increase cultural awareness between international students and American students while promoting togetherness, unity and friendship.

Friday Sports

Every Friday from 6 pm to 11 pm in Hershey Hall any student, faculty or staff member who wants to get together for a bit of competition and fun is welcome to play. Soccer was our focus in the beginning, but people have shown an interest in volleyball as well. So now, we do BOTH! Trine also has many intramural sports open to all students.

Conversation Partner Program

Would you like to practice a language with a native speaker and make new friends from different countries? This program is designed to provide language learners with opportunities to practice their conversation skills with native speakers outside of the classroom. While building competence and fluency, international speakers enjoy making new friends and learning about the American culture. Americans are also able to learn about your culture!  Conversation partners meet informally where ever they would like for an hour per week during the semester. Each hour is considered one CHAT event.
