Student Email Account

As a student of Trine University, you will have a new email account with Microsoft Live@edu (http://home.live.com/).    Your new email address will be set up with your first initial + middle initial + lastname + @my.trine.edu. For example, if your name is Joe A. Student then your email address will be jastudent@my.trine.edu.  Your new password will initially be set to your birth date in the following format: MMDDYYYY and you’ll be required to change it when you first login.

All official Trine University correspondence will be directed to your new email account.

Some of the advantages of your new Microsoft Live@edu email account are:

• Email address for life, your account stays with you after even after you graduate
• The ability to store up to 25GB of your files on the internet for easy access anywhere
• Easy password reset through secret questions or having a reset sent to your alternative email address
• A MySpace page that you can customize for collaboration with your friends

We have also added some custom features that can be used with your Microsoft Live@edu account. 

A calendar file listing your class schedule can be imported to most calendaring software.  It can be obtained from your schedule page at the Student Information Site https://secure.trine.edu/trine/studentweb/startstudentsearch.cfm ).
