To Kazi, his students are more than just a number.
B.Sc. University of the Punjab, 1991, M.Sc. Quaid–i–Azam University, Islamabad, 1996, M.S. Southern Illinois University, Carbondale, 2002, Ph.D. Southern Illinois University, Carbondale, 2006
How pleasing it is to see a student succeed, and how gratifying it is to lead him to success! Teaching has been my passion, and I have particularly loved teaching math.
I have taught college for 13 years. I have taught several undergraduate courses, ranging from elementary to high levels, and was honored with the Outstanding Ph.D. Teaching Assistant Award in 2005.
Knowing the latest trends and advancements in my field is important to me. I have worked on special functions of applied mathematics, with emphasis on elliptic integrals. My research in this field has been published in peer–reviewed journals, including Contemporary Math (American Mathematical Society) and the Journal of Approximation Theory. I am interested in a wide variety of mathematics applications.
I love nature, outings with my family, and gardening.
