Meet Cindy Neyer

Trine University - Jannen School of Arts & Sciences

Neyer is a physics wiz.

B.S. University of Kansas; Ph.D. in physics, Iowa State University

My doctoral dissertation research involved the applications of supersymmetry to quantum mechanics. Beyond graduate school, my primary interest has been in teaching at the college level.

My first full–time teaching position was at the Morris branch of the University of Minnesota. I taught there for six years before coming to Trine University in 1998.

At Trine, the courses I teach are College Physics I and II and University Physics I and II, taken by students with engineering and science–related majors.

Outside of work, I have a variety of hobbies, including needlework forms such as quilt making and embroidery, making jewelry, reading and playing the harp.
