Physical therapist's research centers around PT education

B.S. and Doctorate - Creighton University

I attended Creighton University where I received a Bachelor of Science degree in health sciences and a doctorate degree in physical therapy in 2006.

In 2007, I completed an American Physical Therapy Association-credentialed orthopedic physical therapy residency. I have been a certified orthopedic certified specialist (OCS) by the American Board of Physical Therapy since 2008.

During my career, I have practiced in a couple outpatient orthopedic settings and was a clinic director for several years in Denver. While in Colorado, I pursued my passion for teaching as an adjunct faculty member for Clarkson College where I developed and taught courses on topics such as pathophysiology, therapeutic exercise and clinical documentation.

My research interests include the effectiveness of interprofessional education, the development of clinical expertise in physical therapy residency programs and best practices for clinical education.
