Career has centered on practicing and teaching physical therapy

B.A. - Indiana University-Purdue University Fort Wayne, M.S. - University of Indianapolis
I obtained my Bachelor of Arts degree in psychology from Indiana University-Purdue University Fort Wayne and my Master of Science degree from the University of Indianapolis (UIndy). I am currently working on the completion of my Doctor of Health Science degree at UIndy. My research interests are in neurologic rehabilitation with an emphasis on the disease of multiple sclerosis.

I am an American Board of Physical Therapy Specialties board certified specialist in neurologic physical therapy (neurologic clinical specialist) 2009, and have worked in the Fort Wayne, Ind., hospital community in adult rehabilitation in various clinical and managerial positions (director of inpatient therapy, manager of physical therapy (PT) and therapy education manager). I've enjoyed serving as a clinical education instructor/center coordinator of clinical education for student physical therapists/physical therapist assistants for more than 20 plus years for six PT/PTA university programs in the tri-state region and Missouri (American Physical Therapy Association credentialed advanced clinical instructor). I remain active in patient care.
