Meet Kevin Molyet

Trine University - Allen School of Engineering

Eagle scout, and engineer whose favorite TV family is the Simpsons.

B.S., M.S., Ph.D. – University of Toledo

This is my first year teaching at Trine University, after teaching for several years at various colleges in the Toledo, Ohio area. I focused my graduate student research upon piezoceramics and magnetorheological fluids, so–called "smart" materials, as an Ohio Space Grant Consortium fellow in a program of the Ohio Aerospace Institute and NASA.

Although I have only been here a short time, I already love working here and interacting with my students.

A native of northwest Ohio and an Eagle Scout, I developed a love for the outdoors through scouting activities such as hiking, camping and whitewater rafting. I also enjoy playing cards, especially euchre, and watching The Simpsons, my favorite TV show.
