After completing my doctorate in computer science from Wayne State University in Detroit, Mich., I joined the faculty of Trine University this year. My interest in computers goes back to 1992, when I first got an opportunity to play with a computer. Since then, I pursued computer science and computer applications as my career. Influenced by my parents′ life as academicians, I chose to be an educator.
Within the field of computer science, my interests are in distributed systems, computer networks, information and network security. In my research, I applied game theory – a branch of applied mathematics – into different aspects of computer science. I love to teach programming.
Born and raised in India, I developed an attraction for its culture and tradition. That attraction grew to new heights after some pristine personalities. Along with teaching as my profession, my life revolves around practicing bhakti yoga and meditation.
