Hong is my name and numbers are my game.B.S. – Wuhan University, China, M.T.M/Ph.D. – Concordia University, Canada After completing my Ph.D. in mathematics in 2007, I became a post–doctoral fellow at the University of Oulu, Finland, for a year. I worked as a research assistant professor at Concordia University during fall 2008 and as an assistant professor at Trine University since January 2009. At Concordia and Trine, I have taught calculus I, trigonometry, college algebra, finite mathematics and fundamental concepts of algebra. I have also taught a graduate–level course, modern real analysis, at the University of Oulu. My research interests lie in the areas of harmonic analysis and function spaces, with applications to partial differential equations and geometric measure theory. I like traveling and meeting new people. |
