Western Michigan University, Licensed clinical social worker – State of Indiana With more than 20 years of professional experience in the areas of clinical work and case management with at–risk populations, I am in a unique position to share many real–life examples with my students. In addition, the State of Indiana requires that I engage in at least 20 hours of continuing education to maintain my professional licensure. In doing so, I keep abreast of the latest psychological research and best practices to use in the classroom. When not teaching, I enjoy attending my daughter′s high school sporting events, reading, bike riding, and spending time with family and friends. I also make a "mean" fresh salsa when my garden produces! |
