Trine musicians to perform
Mozart's 'The Impresario'

ANGOLA, Ind. -- Everyone is invited to a performance of Mozart's "The Impresario" by Trine University's Musical Theatre/Opera Ensemble on Tuesday, April 23.

"The Impresario" is a singspiel (German opera containing spoken dialogue and usually comic in tone) written in 1786 about an aging opera impresario who is tired of all the politics of the theater.

"The hour-long performance is sure to delight the audience," said Monica Vernot, Trine director of vocal music who will direct the performance. "Our students are ready to deliver an entertaining and light-hearted performance."

The event is at 7 p.m. April 23 in the Furth Annex, 205 W. Maumee St., Angola. Admission is free.
