Military veterans, senior citizens admitted
free; $50 drawings set for each quarter

Trine’s Thunder Nation looks to cheer its football squad to victory Saturday as it faces off against conference rival Adrian College.

The Trine University Thunder and the Bulldogs will be battling for the title of Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association Conference Champion and a solidified spot in the National Collegiate Athletic Association Division III Football Championship Tournament. Trine is 6-3 and Adrian is 7-2, each team is 4-1 in the MIAA.

This game is also designated “Salute our Veterans and Celebrate our Seniors Day.” Patriotic attire is encouraged and all military veterans who bring their military identification to the ticket booth will receive free admission into the game. Before the kickoff, Trine will recognize senior football players. During halftime, Trine will honor senior cheer and dance squad members.

Admission to the game is $8 per person, $3 for nonTrine students with student ID and free for seniors 65 and older and children younger than 12. Remember, veterans with military identification are admitted free.

Fans also earn a chance to win a $50 giveaway at the end of each quarter. To qualify for this prize, visitors must be present at the time it is awarded.

The game will take place at 1 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 15, in Zollner Athletic Stadium. All are welcome to attend and help cheer the Thunder to victory.
