Math Kids Night

Trine University students work on activities with elementary school-age children at a previous Math Kids’ Night.

Sixth annual event to be held Friday

The Trine University Math Club will host its sixth annual Math Kids’ Night from 6:30-8:30 p.m. Friday, Nov. 18, in the Rick L. and Vicki L. James University Center on the Trine University campus.

The event will offer five different activities for elementary school-age children to complete, led by Math Club members and Trine University student volunteers. Children attending will receive free pizza and candy, and various Trine University items will be given away in a drawing.

Donations will be accepted for Big Brothers Big Sisters.

Parking will be available in Lot 14 across from the University Center. Signs will be posted to direct traffic.

About 90 children from six area elementary schools have already registered. For more information or to receive a registration form, contact Haseeb Kazi, Ph.D., Math Club advisor, at (260) 665-4248 or club president Cole Mabie at camabie15@my.trine.edu.
