Nearly 300 supporters help make history

NOV. 20 -- Trine supporters, you made history.

Trine thanks everyone who made a gift on the first ever Giving Day that took place Thursday, Nov. 19, 2015. Supporters gave $75,172 with 294 gifts.

Each gift has an endless impact by touching students’ lives, enhancing technology and innovation, expanding programming, or enriching the campus community. You can be proud of the fact that you and so many gracious donors came together in a big way to support Trine University.

“We are overwhelmed with gratitude by the number of people who showed their support financially on our very first Giving Day. From alumni, friends, Trine parents and students who gave to support our mission – it is incredible and we are most appreciative,” said Earl D. Brooks II, Ph.D., president.

The first Giving Day and the fact it resulted in 294 alumni, friends, staff, faculty and students giving their financial support to the university in one single day, make it a historical first for the university. Trine thanks the many alumni and friends who were Giving Day ambassadors and made an extra effort to encourage support for the event.

If you missed Giving Day 2015 you can still make a difference by giving today or any day. Visit www.trine.edu/give or telephone 844.665.GIVE.
