Tribute band set to celebrate 40th anniversary of ‘Wish You Were Here’
SEPT. 1 – Trine University will welcome a visually stunning laser and light show with some familiar musical favorites to campus next month.
Pink Droyd’s robotic, intelligent light show, digital video accompaniment and amazing laser show has entertained audiences across the United States. This theatrical Pink Floyd experience will take place at 8 p.m. Friday, Sept. 11 at Ryan Concert Hall, T. Furth Center for Performing Arts.
Pink Droyd features veterans from other successful Pink Floyd tribute bands, including Pink Voyd of Boston, EarthBound Misfits from Fort Wayne and the legendary The Lennon Brothers.
With a combined Pink Floyd tribute band experience of almost 40 years, Pink Droyd will bring the feel and sound of Pink Floyd shows to the stage. The cast will celebrate the 40th anniversary of the Pink Floyd album “Wish You Were Here” by performing it in its entirety, complete and uncut, along with some other famed tunes.
