TV's Dr. Lori to speak at Trine

ANGOLA, Ind. – TV’s Dr. Lori will speak at Trine University Feb. 28 at 7 p.m. in Fabiani Theatre in the University Center on the main campus in Angola as part of the school’s Distinguished Speaker Series. All are welcome to attend this free event.
Dr. Lori stars as the antiques appraiser on the Discovery channel's hit reality TV show Auction Kings. She has appeared on Comedy Central's The Daily Show with Jon Stewart, The Tonight Show, Lifetime Television, ABC TV's Live Well Network, CBS, NBC and FOX. Dr. Lori is an award-winning TV personality.

Dr. Lori reviews approximately 20,000 items a year. From that education and experience, Dr. Lori has written 30 books and countless articles. She is a nationally syndicated columnist with columns carried in 94 publications reaching more than 8.2 million readers monthly in print. She also writes a blog for Lifetime Television and is an editor of several lifestyle magazines. A certified fine art and antiques appraiser, Dr. Lori is the director of www.DrLoriV.com.
She earned a bachelor’s degree in history from the University of Michigan at Ann Arbor and a doctorate in art history from Penn State University. She has taught art history at the State University of New York, the Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts, and at the Yale University Art Gallery and currently is on the faculty at Penn State University.
Dr. Lori has more than 20 years of travel experience across the globe, including lecture assignments on various cruise lines and guiding educational tour groups.
