Trine welcomes environmental lawyer March 21
ANGOLA, Ind. – Trine University will welcome attorney and 1974 Tri-State University alumnus Donald P. Gallo as part of its Distinguished Speaker Series Wednesday, March 21, at 7 p.m. in Fabiani Theatre in the University Center on the main campus in Angola.
Gallo, a shareholder in the Reinhart Boerner Van Deuren’s Environmental, Business Law, Litigation and Real Estate Practices, concentrates his practice on environmental matters. He is a licensed registered engineer with more than 30 years of experience specializing in environmental engineering and law. In addition, he teaches two graduate-level courses in environmental law and construction law at the Milwaukee School of Engineering.
He has been recognized as a “go-to environmental lawyer” with “fine scientific knowledge” by Chambers USA: America’s Leading Lawyers for Business. He was named one of the best environmental law and litigation-environmental lawyers by Best Lawyers in America.
He has authored several Brownfields Initiatives contained in the 1997 Act 27 Budget Bill and the 1999 Budget Bill, as well as the Pollution Prevention partnership programs for both the Wisconsin Fabricare Institute and the Illinois State Fabricare Association with the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources and the Illinois EPA respectively.
After graduating from Tri-State University with honors, Gallo earned a Master of Science in civil engineering with a focus in environmental engineering from the University of Akron. He then earned his juris doctorate from Marquette University Law School, graduating cum laude.
