Tom Paradzinski, a human resource development professional with PDF Inc., a professional growth and performance improvement firm he founded in 1992, brings extensive teaching credentials and business experience and training to his job as enrollment manager, faculty developer, curriculum director and community relations representative for Trine.

An instructor in the Donald S. Maine School of Business at Davenport University Merrillville/South Bend since 2007, he has also delivered education services for Harper College in Palatine, Ill., Prairie State College in Chicago Heights, Ill., the College of DuPage in Glen Ellyn, Ill., and Kankakee Community College in Kankakee, Ill., from 2004-2008. He has also served in executive human relations positions and conducted training for numerous companies. He earned a bachelor’s degree in industrial management at Purdue Calumet in 1981 and a master’s degree in industrial relations at Loyola University in Chicago in 1984.

The Trine campus will offer undergraduate programs in applied management, business administration, criminal justice, and psychology through faculty with real-world experience to provide career-enhancing education tailored for the working adult. Trine Merrillville also plans to offer a master’s degree in criminal justice in the fall.

Multiple entry points create greater convenience for working adults, while an accelerated program reduces the time and financial commitment in completing a degree. Courses are taught in the evenings and on Saturdays to accommodate working professionals. Trine has a liberal credit transfer policy, and also grants credit for work experience.
