Trine bands, choir performing

Public invited to free concert

 

The Trine University Jazz Bands and University Choir will entertain listeners with music in a variety of styles at 3 p.m. on Sunday, Nov. 1 in the University Center’s Fabiani Theatre.

The groups will perform numbers in swing, blues, rock and other music styles, by artists such as Mancini and Count Basie. The University Choir will be joined by two bands, the Three O’clock Jazz Band and the Four-thirty Jazz Band.

Trine music director Mark Kays invites the Trine and local communities to join him for this afternoon showcase of the music program. The concert is free.
