Trine celebrates new campus
South Bend/Mishawaka in business hub
Trine University will celebrate the opening of its new South Bend/Mishawaka campus with a formal open house and ribbon-cutting ceremony Thursday, Nov. 13 from 4-7 p.m. at the facility in the heart of Mishawaka’s business district.
Trine South Bend/Mishawaka, formerly Tri-State University's South Bend campus, has renovated 7,800 square feet in the Edison Lakes Parkway Corp. building after vacating its downtown Mishawaka location in January. The new facility is located at 4101 Edison Lakes Parkway, Suite 250, near the Indiana Toll Road (I-80/90) off Day Road.
The new site contains five classrooms, a computer lab, student lounge, and small seminar room. It will also see use for business and organizational conferences, as hotels, restaurants, and caterers in the area support such gatherings.
The campus will continue to serve the needs of working adults in the Trine School of Professional Studies by offering majors in health care management, criminal justice, psychology, emergency management, business administration, and management.
The public is invited to view the new facility and witness the ribbon-cutting by Trine SPS and regional government officials.
