Student Life offering Rockin' Hot Makeovers
Staff, students undergoing transformation
For the second year, Trine University students and staff members will see their appearances transformed under the skillful hands of local fashion aficionados during Rockin’ Hot Makeovers, an Office of Student Life event in Fabiani Theatre Jan. 30 at 7 p.m.
Finishing Touch Salon, Mitchell’s, Calicos & Collectibles, Dress Barn, Maurices, Van Heusen, Bass, and Kohl’s will donate services and clothing to create brand new looks for event participants. To add to the excitement, Finishing Touch Salon will randomly select five candidates from the audience to receive timed, 20-minute makeovers. Bowen Arrow Photography will take before and after photos of participants.
Friends, family and community members are invited to attend the free event to enjoy the transformations and support the makeover participants. Trine staff members Linda Bateman, Windy Kipfer, Helen Hall, Dean Jackson, and Sherry Albright will join students Jacki Scheidt, Jacinda Aguilera, Kayla Shaw, Emily Shreeve, Jessica Hutchison, Lindsey Cole, Shayna Lohbauer, Adam Shiltz, Kyle Trotter, Ryan Troutman, TJ Saltzman, Sean Hitz, Mario Brown, and Wes Stinson in receiving makeovers.
“Rockin’ Hot Makeovers is one of the best events we have during spring semester. It’s fun to work with the participants throughout the process, and amazing to see how great they look afterward. The audience will be impressed,” said Trine Office of Student Life Director Sarah Brown.
A reception with refreshments by the university’s Bon Appétit staff will follow. For more information, contact Brown at 260.665.4173 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
