Don't live down to expectations. Go out there and do something remarkable. ~ Wendy Wasserstein (1950-2006) American playwright

Homecoming has come and gone, the leaves are changing and a new athletic season is right around the corner.  Time flies when you’re having fun. Thank you to all of you who helped to make Homecoming 2012 a success! I hope you enjoyed your time on campus connecting with old friends and making new ones, and seeing the way campus has changed over the years. It was very exciting for me to meet new people and see familiar faces. I hope to see you all again in the years to come! If you weren’t able to make it to homecoming, start making plans for next year — Sept. 27 & 29. Or, stop in sooner if you’re in the area.

This is my favorite time of the year to travel—the leaves are so pretty in Angola right now and they’re just a little different in whichever direction you travel. If you’re planning a fall trip and you’re going to be traveling near the Angola area, give us a call and let us know. We would love to host you on campus for a tour and lunch at Whitney Commons or The Depot.

Check out the Thunder athletic webpage and check the schedules of your favorite Thunder team. If you have a free Saturday and live near where teams will be travelling, bundle up your family and head out to cheer on the Thunder. I try to get to as many Saturday events as possible, so if you’re heading to a home game, look me up.

Thank you, again, to everyone who helped to make Homecoming 2012 a success. If we weren’t able to meet while you were here, hopefully our paths will cross in the near future. Remember, if you’re in the Angola area for a cross country trip or just visiting family for the day, please contact the alumni office—we would love to host you on campus for a couple hours or even the entire day.
