Giving Day at Trine University coming Nov. 17
Trine University’s annual Giving Day is scheduled to take place Thursday, Nov. 17.
Alumni, students, staff and friends are encouraged to make a financial gift to Trine on Giving Day, a virtual, 24-hour challenge that will benefit many programs on campus, including the scholarship fund.
Gifts can be directed to the student scholarship fund or any area on campus.
Last year’s event — Trine’s first-ever Giving Day — raised more than $75,000, with 294 gifts contributed during the 24-hour period.
“Our supporters help make Trine University exceptional and enhance our campus community,” said Earl D. Brooks II, Ph.D., Trine University president. “Their financial commitment supports many places on campus and the student scholarship fund, allowing us to give deserving students an affordable, high-quality education that prepares them to succeed, lead and serve.”

The university recently announced the expansion of its Invest in Excellence Capital Campaign from its original $75 million to $125 million. The campaign has raised more than $83 million, about 66 percent of the final goal.
